Vorige week donderdag heb ik mijn eerste tekenles gehad, bij de Stadsacademie in Rotterdam. Erg leuk, en natuurlijk begonnen met een stilleven, met houtskool. Niet teveel naar de andere cursisten kijken, die bijna allemaal veel beter tekenen (wat doen die toch bij een basiscursus tekenen??). Het streven is nu wel elke dag iets te tekenen, in de hoop vooruitgang te zien :-)
Last week I had my first drawing lesson. It was fun, and of course we started with a still life, drawn with charcoal. I try not to watch the others too much, because they all draw better than I (what the heck are they attending basic drawing class for??). Anyway, I try to draw daily now, and hope to see improvement :-)
