Digital Canvas workshop

Het is alweer even geleden, maar ik wil toch nog even schrijven over de Digital Canvas workshop die ik volgde bij Traci Bautista. Ik was zeker geen beginner, maar ik heb in deze workshop toch een paar superhandige trucjes geleerd. En ben je wel een beginner, en wil je creatief aan de slag met je iPad, dan kan ik je deze workshop aanbevelen. Hou rekening met extra kosten voor verschillende Apps die je aan moet schaffen ;-)

                              

It has been a while since I completed this Digital Canvas workshop with Traci Bautista, but I want to write about it. Now I wasn't a beginner, but I still learned a number of very cool tricks. And if you are a beginner, and want to get creative with your iPad, I can really recommand this workshop. Keep in mind you will need a few extra dollars to buy a few Apps you need ;-)

                            

                              

Octopode challenge

De nieuwe 14-daagse challenge van Octopode Factory kun je hier vinden. Deze keer met het thema 'muziek'. Het is niet verplicht (digitale) stempels van Octopode Factory te gebruiken, maar het is wel leuk natuurlijk! In ieder geval een mooie kans om een leuk prijsje te winnen ;-)

The new fortnight challenge by Octopode Factory can be found right here. This time the theme is 'music'. You don't need to use (digital) stamps by Octopode Factory, but they are fun, try it! Anyway, a nice chance to win a cute price ;-)

Ik heb al heel wat afgeknutseld met deze leuke afbeeldingen, verjaardagskaarten, labels, fotopagina's, het blijft gewoon heel leuk om te doen. Hieronder een selectie ;-)

I've made quite a few things with these cute images, birthdaycards, tags, scrapbookpages, they are so much fun and usuable for a lot of different things. Here's a selection ;-)

So much fun, the digital stamps by Octopode Factory. For traditional art and mixed media, but of course for use on the computer too, or, like I use them, on the iPad ;-)

De maand is om, de challenge is klaar, en ik heb het volgehouden! 29 gezichten getekend op mijn iPad, allemaal verschillend, de ene mooier dan de andere. Hier zijn de laatste 6 ;-) Via deze link vind je alle blogs van mensen die ook de challenge deden, voor als je er niet genoeg van kunt krijgen!

Van het eerste gezicht hieronder heb ik nog een film gemaakt, in de App Brushes kun je namelijk dat wat je tekent direct opnemen. Heel leuk, alleen jammer dat ik de App zelf niet zo bijzonder vind. Wordt niet vervolgd dus ;-)

I made a little Youtube movie of the first face below, in the App Brushes you can record your drawing. A lot of fun, but I really don't like the App much, so this won't be continued ;-)

Vandaag face 24/29. Misschien wel eens leuk om te laten zien hoe zoiets tot stand komt :-) Deze is ook weer op de iPad gemaakt, met de app Procreate. Meer over deze challenge vind je hier *klik*

Wat tijd met meneer Google doorgebracht, de app Brushes heeft de mogelijkheid om je 'schilderwerk' op te nemen en weer terug te spelen. Daar ga ik me eens in verdiepen, misschien ook wel leuk om hier te laten zien! Ik weet dat het met Artrage ook kan, maar dan heb je ook de PC versie van Artrage nodig. En omdat onze PC op instorten staat lijkt me dat voor nu nog even niet zo handig ;-)

Spend some time with mr. Google, it seams the app Brushes has the option to record and play back the 'paintings'. Will check this out, might be fun to show here too! I know Artrage can do this too, but to play back you need the desktopversion of Artrage as well. And since our desktop is very old, slow and almost dead for now that is not an option ;-)

Het blijft leuk, deze challenge georganiseerd door Ayala Art. Via deze link kun je nog veel meer zien! Ik leer de Apps op mijn iPad steeds beter kennen, en het is heerlijk om 's avonds nog even te ontspannen met het tekenen van een gezicht. Als de challenge afgelopen is laat ik bij de Hema een Instagramboekje maken met alle tekeningen ;-)

It is still so much fun, this challenge organised by Ayala Art. Through this link you can see a lot more faces! I am learning my Apps a lot better, and it is just so relaxing to draw a face every evening. When this challenge is done I will print a small book with all of them ;-)

Allemaal verschillend, en allemaal heel leuk geworden. Ik ben heel tevreden ;-)

All different, and yet all so beautiful. I am very pleased with myself ;-)

Eindelijk een challenge die gemakkelijk vol te houden is. Ik loop zelfs voor! Wel prettig natuurlijk, omdat Februari dit jaar maar 28 dagen heeft, dus er zal een dag met twéé tekeningen moeten komen ;-) In ieder geval, nog steeds allemaal op de iPad gemaakt, met afwisselens Procreate, Artrage en Sketchclub!

Finally a challenge I can keep up with. I'm even a day ahead, but that's a good thing since February only has 28 days this year, so there has to be a day with twó drawings ;-) Anyway, I still do mine on my iPad, using Procreate, Artrage and Sketchclub!

29 Faces challenge

29 Faces, een challenge die afgelopen jaar voor het eerst in Februari is gedaan, en gedurende 2012 nog een aantal keren is herhaald. Nu dus weer en ik besluit er maar eens aan mee te doen. Ik maak alle tekeningen op mijn iPad, geen tijd en/of energie om in het atelier aan het werk te gaan ;-)

29 Faces, a challenge that ran for the first time last year February, and was repeated a few times during 2012. And now I decided to join. I'll make all my drawings on my iPad, since I don't have the time and/or the energy to work in the artstudio ;-)

Erg leuk om te doen, en toch een beetje kunstige ontspanning in deze drukke tijden ;-)

Fun to do, and the artsy relaxation I so desperately need at the moment ;-)

Digitale stempels

Een stukje over digitale stempels. Niks anders natuurlijk dan een zwart/wit plaatje, wat je in kunt kleuren, uit kunt knippen, plakken, kaarten maken, in je art journal verwerken of ..... digitaal laten en lekker op je PC of, in mijn geval je iPad kunt bewerken ;-)

Digital stamps, of course nothing more than a black/white image. You can color it, cut it out, make cards, use in your art journal, or leave it digital and work with it on your PC, or in my case, on the iPad ;-)

De afbeeldingen van Octopode Factory vind ik superleuk, en daar ben ik dus heerlijk mee bezig geweest. Kijk gerust eens in haar shop, voor een redelijke prijs heb je een afbeelding die je zo vaak kunt printen als je maar wilt (mits voor persoonlijk gebruik natuurlijk!), in elk formaat. Met potloden inkleuren, op de computer inkleuren, alles is mogelijk!

I love the images by Octopode Factory, and I have been busy using them. Take a look in her shop, so many cute images to use over and over again (personal use only of course!), in any size you want them. Color them with pencils, paint, or digital, the sky is the limit!
