Project 4x4

Vaker bloggen, ja ja ..... En zo zijn er alweer bijna 3 weken voorbij! Maar goed, nu dan toch weer een berichtje, deze keer over mijn andere project voor 2014, Project 4x4. Iedere week ga ik 4 kleine schilderijtjes maken van 4x4 inch. Het idee vond ik op een blog uit mijn bloglijst, met deze link erbij. En dat leek me wel wat. Kleine werkjes die niet zo ontzettend veel tijd kosten, dat moet kunnen!

Blog more often, sure .... And so almost 3 weeks passed already since my last blogpost! O well, I'm here, blogging about my other project for 2014, Project 4x4. Each week I will paint 4 small paintings of 4x4 inch. I found the idea on one of the blogs on my bloglist, with this link. And I loved the idea. Small works of art that don't take too much time, it should be do-able!

Ik begin op een stuk papier van 8x8 inch, als ik tevreden ben snijd ik dat in 4 stukken en voeg nog wat laatste details toe. Ik gebruik hiervoor allerlei technieken, schilderen, tekenen, collage, relief, en nog veel meer. Leuk om allerlei dingen te proberen.

I start with a piece of paper of 8x8 inch, and when I am happy with the result I cut the paper up into 4 pieces, adding some finer details. I use all sorts of techniques, painting, drawing, collage, texture, and lots more. A great way to try different things.

Dit zijn de eerste 4 / these are the first 4 :

Echt ontzettend leuk om te doen. De eerste serie heb ik ingescand en daarvan een canvas besteld van 90x90 cm, voor in de kantine op mijn werk. En dat ziet er zo gaaf uit!

So much fun to do these. I scanned the first serie and had them printed on a canvas size 90x90 cms (abt. 36x36 inch), to decorate the walls in the lunchroom at the office. It looks totally awesome!
