Yesterday we celebrated the 19th birthday of our oldest daughter. She wore a long dress and looked so beautiful. We celebrated at my sisters, together with cousin Stephan, his birthday is the 9th of August. The party was loud but fun, as usual ;-) Today birthdaygirl is off to get an earpiercing. Anyone useful tips for me how to prevent stuff like this to happen? O well, for now I am grateful that it is 'just' an earpiercing, and I realise I have little influence on the choices she makes and will be making in the future....
Vandaag is een luie dag, natuurlijk heel laat naar bed gegaan en dus lang uitgeslapen. Ik heb weer wat nieuwe pagina's gemaakt voor het Engeland-fotoboek.
Today is a lazy day, went to bed late last evening, and slept long this morning. I made some new pages for my England-photobook.

Nu eerst maar een lekker kopje thee drinken, en dan denk ik dat ik maar verder ga met lui zijn, en heerlijk een poosje ga lezen. Het is nu toch al een verloren dag :-)
Time to have a nice cup of tea, and I think I will remain lazy today, take my book and read for a while. Today is lost as it is :-)
1 opmerking:
children and their choices can make us crazy....i know....we raised 8 of them...they are all wonderful adults now and we still question some of their choices...quietly, of course...
your daughter is beautiful...love her hair.....i think if i were young again i would like to be a red head... ;-)
