Two new pages for our UK-holidaybook, about a stormy day in Lydford, near Dartmoor National Park. During the night the wind became very strong, and we needed a lot of rope and pegs to keep our tenttrailer in its place. The wind blew right into the entrance of our tent, and it was nearly impossible to boil some water to make tea, because our gascooker was in the wind too. On top of a mountain of course the wind is the strongest, so we asked the warden if we could move to another spot. He looked at us, a bit irritated, and said : "Why bother, it's only a mild breeze ...". Yeah, sure. I need to add that the warden was busy mowing the grass. What did we learn? Never disturb an Englisman who's moving the grass LOL
