Mussen

We hebben dit jaar een overvloed aan  mussen in de tuin. Het is een gefladder en gekwetter van jewelste. Ik zie ook nog steeds mussen met takjes en sprietjes wegvliegen .... Denk dat het nu toch wel tijd wordt om te stoppen met broeden ;-) Ik merk ook dat het voedselaanbod lager wordt. Er wordt hard gevochten om een stukje brood, en eventuele indringers (zoals een schattig roodborstje) worden venijnig weggejaagd.......

This year we have a lot of sparrows in our garden. They flutter and chirp so much, it is lovely to see. I still see sparrows flying off with nesting material .... Think it is about time to stop breeding, it is getting pretty cold here ;-) I also notice there's  not enough food for all of them, they are fighting hard over the bread I give them. Intruders (like a cute little robin) are send away agressively ....

En deze is helemaal uitgebloeid, maar ook nog mooi ... / And this one is gone, but still pretty .... 

De herfst is definitief gearriveerd, het is vandaag grijs en ook best wel koud. Maar ook fijn, zo'n heerlijke rustige herfstdag, geen wind en al schitterende herfstkleuren te zien. Op deze manier vind ik het niet zo erg ;-)

Fall  is here, today is grey and kind of cold. But nice too, a wonderful quiet day, no wind and the trees are changing their colors. With weather like this I really don't mind the fall ;-)
